Did they quote any reason for wait listing you last year? Which round did you apply in last year?

Had applied in R2. They did not give any feedback (I believe they do that only in exceptional cases .. where there is just one weakness in the app).

Adcom said they would have to wait for an admitted student of a 'similar' profile to move out for me to be included. Am Indian (economics) so the pool was automatically more competitive.

the INSEAD application locks some of the cells after you generate the recommendation links. Anyone has first hand idea, which cells are locked?

The fields that are locked are things like name and birthday. Basically, they lock the fields that they will need to match your recommendations to your application and who you are.

Nope, you don't get any info from INSEAD. you will have to keep following up on your recommenders. However, your recommenders will get a 'recommendation complete and submitted' confirmation email. Might be a good idea to ask them to fwd the mail to you to keep in your records. Just in case...

The other thing I noticed was that I couldn't actually check the status of my recommenders until I submitted the application. Then checking is easy.

You can check the status of your recommenders by clicking on the link you generated to them, before you even submitted your app.

Thanks for refreshing the roll-call!

If I happen to sneak into the class of 2011, I hope to start in Fonty, then head over to Singapore for P3 - P5. I aim to work in East Asia for the renewable energy industry.

I'm a Korean American.

Look forward to going through this mental-marathon of wait with everyone.

Good luck!

I've never seen any info on this. INSEAD seems to keep application numbers pretty close to their chest.
