Hi brychao,
i just saw that you created this thread already...
i just created an other thread so i'll delete it.
it seems easier to follow on a google doc isn't it?
Since the waitlist is used to manage diversity -not only a question of nationality but also of gender, professional experience, educational background- let's share our profiles here (google doc):

I found on older threats that: "it seems that the gross of the R1 waitlisters who were later accepted were notified between the deadlines for the R2 interview notifications and the R1 deposit deadline."
Since the first intallment pyment is due within four weeks of the decision notification, i huess things will move AFTER the 27th of July...

Hi Guys,
I got Anne Nigl from the admission office on the phone.
She told me that there are quite few persons on the waitlist for the moment (pretty good news!)
They will review the waitlist on a regular basis but the main moment will be just after the interview notification of the Round2 candidates: there they will basically create the Jan13 class, based on: the people selected in R1, people on the R1 waitlist, and on the R2 candidates...
So we are in a way added to the list again in Round2, as if we were re-applying.
As most of you know, there is no order on the waitlist but you get a "yes" if someone leaves, with the same profile as yours
And finally, the final answer can arrive as late as the starting of the courses in Jan...

Thanks for the update, that sounds like good news to me. Was she able to give you any information specific to your evaluation? Do you think it would be useful to ask?
I'm aware that an acceptance can be granted at any time up to the start of classes, but if one were interested in being considered for the September 2013 intake as well, do you know the procedure for that? Can one be simultaneously on the waitlist and apply for the following intake (R1 would be October 3rd deadline)?

At INSEAD, they almost never give you personalised feedback, just general guidelines like the one I've mentionned... that's really a shame I think... Regarding your second question, I'd encourage you to simply call your admission officer... They are all very kind and comprehensive !

Still no news apparently...
I've read in another discussion that it might start moving by the end of this week, as it is the deadline for the first installment payment for those accepted in June (R1)...

Any movement in the Wait list? I have a friend of mine who is waitilistted. Moreover, the deposit date for the R1 admits is over today and most of the R2 interview calls are already out! Reckon there should be some movement soon!

Have you heard about any movements in the wait list?
My admissions officer was on holiday last week which made me think any movements would happen at the beginning of this week.
R1 payment deadline has expired, R2 interview notifications are finalized ...
