looks like waitlisted people have started getting calls. just checked the INSEAD jan 2014 thread.

Unfortunately, just received an e-mail stating that I am waitlisted as well.

My specs:
Male, Dutch, 29
3,5 years WE
Philanthropy and Energy.
GMAT: 710
GPA: Cum Laude
Languages: 6
International experience: plenty
Interviews: One decent interview, one excellent.

Let's all hope for the best....

strange, your profile seems inline with INSEAD cohort. Did you get any feedback at all? what did you study in?

Just received a friendly e-mail, which however did not contain any specific feedback, other than

'With competition as fierce as it is for a seat at INSEAD, your application does not need to have a specific weakness to be on the waitlist. It is for this reason that we are not asking you for supplementary information / Gmat / interview to strengthen your application. You convinced the Admissions Committee that you are a good candidate and being invited to interview means that you were one of the stronger applicants'.


Which is a friendly remark, although it doesn't feel that good that it is completely out of my hands right now....

BTW., I studied International Relations.

Same here!! Except for joey88 have not heard of any movement on waitlist!!

Movement on waitlist january 14 intake has been very weak compared to previous years!! Weird....

Nontheless let s keep our faith upp!!!! You never know :)
