Taking course certainly helps. Make sure the course you take falls in line with your career goal. Also try to get some more experience before applying. Good luck.

THe thing is work-ex matters and the more you have the better. But make no mistake that the quality of the work-ex also matters. IF you have done say some great things in only 2 years of wrok-ex then go ahead . If your work-ex is rather average which is in line with most of the candidates then 2 years will not be enough... This is again just my personal opinion...

Hi,
I am an IT guy with just one and half year exp.I am plannin to give GMAT by nxt june. I am looking to apply for sep 2009. I am interested in supply chain management and want to start my own enterprise after MBA. I would like to know, whether I need to do any SCM courses to prove my interest and which courses would be recommended. Any advice is appreciated.

Hey Shyam,

Are there any particular SCM courses you have in mind???
