hi guys:

hope everyone is doing well .
I'm an international student and I'm willing to prepare for the TOEFL.
Do you suggest me to study a general English before ? I have heard about 500 essential vocab and some basic grammar.
Any study plan is welcomed .

Thank you in advance

Could you please explain what you mean by these two sentences ?

Do you suggest me to study a general English before ?

I have heard about 500 essential vocab and some basic grammar.

That depends on what is your proficiency level in English currently. One way to gauge that might be to take a practice test and see how you perform, especially in the written section. Please bear in mind that for people whose English needs some effort to improve, a few days/weeks of study is generally not enough.

In fact, i can see lots of members preparing for one week and scored +100, but believe me that's not me.
I can say that I'm good at listening, however I feel my speaking is terrible and it's my biggest fear.
Any ideas or study plan ? I have more thank one month to prepare

Practice speaking and record your voice, then get feedback from others. Check the speaking templates posted in this forum.
