Thanks, just watched it, and I'd definitely recommend it to others. Do keep us posted about whether you decide to do a Take 2. (Will those of us who bought access to the recording be able to log on live to the encore performance?)

Rhyme - thanks again for the webinar.

quick question: what is the etiquette (sp?) for keeping the folio open during the interview? Is it strange for me to be taking notes while the interviewer speaks? I know for job interviews I usually ask the interviewer if they mind me taking notes, but not sure if I should do the same for this.

Thanks. Yea, I can do a take two, maybe around thanksgiving sometime? I'm happy to pass the link on to whomever already bought the recording, I don't see why not. Let me look at my calendar and I'll try to pick a date (maybe a weekend so its less of an issue for folks?)

Absolutely do take notes - my advice is just to say something like "Would you mind if I took notes while you spoke?" -- the interviewer isnt likely to say more than two words back ("sure", "no problem", etc) but it lets them know what you are doing and lets you feel comfortable to scribble. As an added bonus, it gives you something to do with your hands (ever sit there staring at someone? Its actually quite an odd feeling), plus, it demonstrates a genuine interest (you are actually taking note, rather than just asking for the sake of asking).

Rhyme, I'm not able to hear the recording properly. The slides as well as the chat window is moving at the normal speed, but the audio is either garbled or completely blank... Not sure if it's a problem at my end.. :(

Can you please check to see if you face similar issues whenever you get a chance? Thanks!

I haven't heard of this problem from others (and works OK on my end) -- have you tried updating your flash player?

Yeah..I have the latest player installed..

Also just to clarify I have heard bits & pieces of the recording a couple of times earlier without issues. It was only today when I thought of listening to it from start to finish did I start facing problems...I guess if no one else is facing any problems, it might be due to my crappy internet connection.

I wish there was a facility on anymeeting to buffer the recording in advance (like youtube) and then watch it later from start to finish without buffering issues!!

Was this webinar useful or what!! Rhyme has actually nailed the interview process and by conducting such webinars is helping out people like us.

I have got admits to Wisconsin School of Business and Fisher College of Business. This webinar was my only source of preparation and I absolutely endorse it for future applicants!
