Interview preparation [#permalink] New post 16 Jan 2013, 21:48
Hi,

I have applied for 4 schools in round 2 and confident of interview calls from atleast 2. I wanted to know what is the normal suggested timeline for interview preparation? Does it make sense to start after getting a call? Any info how other qualified candidates prepare will be very useful!

Start preparing now. You should have prepared already. You need to be able to express why the b school you are ntervieeing with is right for you. Address particular classes, programs, activities and resources the school had that you want to contribute to. How are they different at your school as compared to the resources at other schools?

Hi,

You should get going immediately, as b-schools give very less time to prepare for interviews (not more than 10-12 days). You can get interview preparation tips and interview experiences on http://www.general-ed.com/mba-interview-preparation . As interviews constitutes important element in b-schools admission, I would suggest you to prepare well on questions like: professional achievements, leadership skills and other aptitudes.

Feel free to post any other concerns you might have.

Cheers!!
