1) p = r. for 1: 1>1/3 thrue; for -1: -1>-1/3 false. insufficient.
2) r > 0. Nothing about p. insufficient.

1&2) 1/r>r/(r^2+2)
using (r>0) : $$1>\frac{r^2}{r^2+2}$$ ==> $$1>1 -\frac{2}{r^2+2}$$ ==> $$\frac{2}{r^2+2}>0$$ true. sufficient
