Is A positive?

1. x^2 - 2x + A is positive for all x
2. Ax^2 + 1 is positive for all x

-------------------------------------------------------------

(A) for me

Stat 1
x^2 - 2x + A > 0

Implies that there is no root for x^2 - 2x + A.

b^2 - 4*a*c < 0
<=> 4 - 4*A < 0
<=> A > 1 > 0

SUFF.

Stat 2
Ax^2 + 1 > 0

Implies that :
> A can be 0 as 1 > 0
or
> A > 0.

INSUFF.
