My Ans: D

From 1: K = 0 & 1 => Question says Non Zero integer, so K = 1
From 2: K = 1

Where am I making the mistake?

(1) K=1 or -1 not OK
(2) K=1 OK

Remember 0^0 is an uncertain case and cannot be solved with simple school math methods. Downward the forum, there is a long discussion over the matter. The rule is simple -- if you see 0^0, neglect it.

I always write in such questions that integers cannot be zero eliminating possible a long and senseless discussion.

It should be D.
The Q says non zero integer K. Answer B would be correct if the Q just said Integer K = 1?
K = -1 is not valid because it is -ve.
