Ans: E

Stmt 1:
C/|B| = 1
=> C = |B|
=> C >= 0

Stmt 2:
|C| + 1 = 2
=> |C| = 1
That says nothing about B.

Stmt 1 & 2:
C = 1
But from C = |B|, B could be +1 or -1.

So Ans: E
