1) ABC is the base word
2) If C immediately follows B, then C can be moved to the front of the code word to generate another word.

Friends, could you explain what the code word is?

yes, but I do't understand the logic.
What does "code word" mean?

well for me it is a question of logic, i just solve by that. The code word is the key for solving the problem...sorry that's my rationale :roll:

code word refers to a three letter word. the letter choices based on (1) are ABC and using (2), you can say that CAB is one such three letter word or code word.

it is just there to confuse you.

Ah you mean that there is no general notion "code word"?
It just was invented for this question?
