Is h^2 = h ?

The question is: is h=0 or h=1?

(1) h + h = h
So h=0 Sufficient

(2) h – h = h
So -h=0 , h=0 Sufficient

Is h^2 = h ?

Is h^2 = h? --> is h^2 - h =0? --> is h(h-1)=0? --> is h=0 or h=1?

(1) h + h = h --> 2h=h --> h=0. Sufficient.
(2) h – h = h --> 0=h. Sufficient.

Answer: D.

Hope it's clear.
