My top 3 schools are Stanford, Berkeley, and UCLA. I will be in California the last week of August and would like to visit them if there is any benefit other than my own edification. However, all of these schools are on the quarter system and, from what I can tell, aren't offering the standard type of "campus visit" activities an MBA applicant would hope to attend.
Specifically, would it be acceptable to meet with someone at admissions during my visit? If so, do I call to make an appointment, or just drop by?
I have read through this forum in an attempt to find these answers but I am still unsure of the protocol. Thank you in advance!!

Just FYI:
I did this with MIT and Columbia -- it was really helpful! I got a random staff member at each school to just walk me around. They were more than happy to get up and try something new during their day and I got a lot of inside information.
Be sure to pick a day when some staff members will actually be around. The slow days are wonderful because they're much more likely to help you!
