I need someone to explain me the concept of this problem. I am not fully confident. Gurpreet or Bunuel?

1. K sqr = 4 => k= +2 or -2 = |k| ??? Suff ?
2. k= |-2| = > |k| = 2 ?? Suff ?


is the answer D correct?. I will verify the answer after i see one of your reply.

Question asks Is |k| = 2 >>> which means >>> Is k= 2,-2.
If the value of k is 2 or -2, the answer will "YES"

Statement 1:
k sqr = 4 means >>> k =2 or k=-2, In either case |k| = 2.

Statement 2:
k = |-2| = 2.
so k =2, so |k| = 2.

IMO its D.

D for sure. The question is about |k|, root 4 =2. k=2 or -2 <=> k square=4 <=> |k|=2

ksquare=4 doesn't mean k can be root 4
