Is Mastering the GMAT CAT by ARCO a good review book? [#permalink] New post 09 Jan 2006, 14:56
Hey all!
i just started studying for the GMAT and I just borrowed this book from the library, but while going through the diagnostic and practice sets I felt that some of the questions are really wacky and the explanations are not exactly to the point.
Has anyone used this book? Or better yet, has anyone used this book and took the GMAT test? I just want to know if the questions are anywhere close to what real GMAT questions are like.
Thank you a ton

I took couple of Paper based tests in Arco. Quant is ok and verbal is too wierd nothing like compared to Kaplan or OG. I found all the RC's are about 90-100 lines. Also some CR questions didnt make any sense. They also didnt explain with good justification as why they were right.
