Is my profile a good match for a top mba program? [#permalink] New post 05 Nov 2012, 04:02
Hi guys,
I am thinking about applying for an mba program next year (top 10) but I'm not sure if my profile is a good fit.
I hold a MSc in Management from an italian university (top 3 in Italy, almost unknown abroad) + 3 years of work experience to date.
0,5y brand marketing at FMCG company (18 billion $)
0,5y shopper marketing at FMCG company (80 billion $)
2y development program at Broadcast Media company - Research & Insights / Product Management (35 billion $)
Unfortunately I don't have an international outlook, that's why I am mostly concerned (I have always studied and worked in Italy).
Thanks

It is impossible to give you any sort of guidance with that little bit of information. Admission is contingent on so many factors beyond just work experience and your degree background. GMAT/GPA/leadership/career goals/career progression/applicant pool/etc. All of these things work in different combinations for different people. Sorry I can't give you an answer. Also post this in the Admissions Consultant thread. They can give you a profile review if you give them more information.
