My questions: Is my score skewed. V37 (81%) Q51(98%). Will the 81%-ile in Verbal be looked upon as below mark?

I was very sloppy during the end of the real exam, usually I scored 39-40 in Verbal in prep tests.

just got my other scores as well AWA 5 & IR 8

You seem to be phenomenal ind Quant. Since you are prepared, I suggest that you retake the test. Don't waste time in retaking the test so that you do not lose your edge in Quant. Just retake the test man!

As you must be aiming the top notch colleges, don't let the difference in your sectional score make the things difficult for you.

You are above 80% in both parts + you are very high in quant which I believe is more important than verbal to most adcoms. Don't waste time retaking and risking a worse score.

Its pretty balanced score, move ahead with essays. You can retake if you are sure you can hit a 750+.

Thanks to all for the responses. I have decided not to retake the exam right now, will put my efforts in apps. Will take again if I get wait-listed or anything.
