Is n an integer?

(1) For $$\frac{n}{3}$$ to be an integer $$n$$ must be an integer --> $$\frac{n}{3}=integer$$ --> $$n=3*integer=integer$$. Sufficient.

(2) $$2n$$ is an integer --> $$n$$ may or may not be an integer, for instance $$n=0.5$$ or $$n=1$$. Not sufficient.
