I know "resulting in" is a correct idiom. + "As a result of" is anotehr version. But almost alwasy I have seen "resullting from" as a wrong option.

I see it all the time and probably wouldn't think it's a bad phrase, but "as a result of" certainly sounds better.

resulting from is incorrect. correct usage is resulting in or as a result of.
Edit: Sorry guys, I just confirmed yes resulting from is correct. there is an idiom list posted by some clubber in this forum. U can chck frm dat.
