Is the average speed of a car greater than 30 mph ?

(1) The distance is less then 3,500 miles
(2) The driving hour is greater than 100 hours

I have simply picked up the answer with a thought that I can get a speed once distance and time are given.. It was a too pure idea?

Please give me advanced thoughts how I can change my approach..

My choice is C.. but the answer is given as E.. I can't fully accept this, though... Please SOS..

V>30?

C cannot be. as

A. Distance can be 3499 and Time can be 101
then Speed can be 34.7. Yes.

B. Distance can be 3000 and Time can be 150
then speed can be 20 No

E is the answer.

E.

Is D/T > 30?

Stat 1: Doesn't tell us anything about T; insuff.

Stat 2: Doesn't tell us anything about D; insuff.

Together:
If D = 1, T = 200 then D/T <30> 30
Insuff.
