IS the perpendicular drawn from B to AC also the bisector of AC. ABC is the right angle triangle with B as right angle?

No, for this to be true, it must be a 90-45-45 triangle.

Also, not if it was a right triangle and you did that you'd end up with 3 similar triangles.
