I also go for A. (1) On th number line, distance between 75 and n is greater than that b/w n and 50 . This implies that value of n is closer to 50 than 75. SUFFICIENT (2)The midpoint between 75 and 50 is 62.5. acc to (2), n>60 so it can be either <62.5 or greater than this. INSUFFICIENT

Is the value of n closer to 50 than to 75?

(1)\(75 - n > n -50\) Simplify the inequality. ---> \(75 - n > n -50\) ---> \(125 > 2n\) ---> \(62,5 > n\). Therefore, n is closer to 50 than it is to 75. Sufficient

(2) \(n > 60\) N could be 61 in this case, n is closer to 50 than to 75. However, n could also be 70. In this case, n is closer to 75 than to 50.
