Is the value of n closer to 50 than to 75?

1) 75-n> n-50
2) n>60

The OA is A and I can't get why.

Could you please help me with this.

Is the value of n closer to 50 than to 75?

1) 75-n> n-50 => 125>2n => n < 62.5 thus n is closer to 50 -> sufficient
2) n>60 -> it could be any thing > 60, i.e if it is 61 it is closer to 50, if it is 74, it is closer to 75, thus insufficient
