Is there penalty if I do not do the AWA part? [#permalink] New post 12 Apr 2011, 04:08
Hello ,

The school I am interested in does not require the AWA score, the only require the Verbal and Quant score. As I know the Q+V score and AWA score are separate. So my question is:

Is there any penalty if I leave the AWA section blank?

Thanks

I don't know if the real thing is anything like GMATPrep but in GMATPrep you have to put something down, even if it's gibberish, just to get a score. There would be no penalty but at least write one sentence just in case.

Wouldn't it look suspicious to admissions officers if you got 700+ and a big fat 0 on your AWA?
