Is x an integer?

(1) x³ is an integer. If x=1, then the answer is YES but if x=\sqrt[3]{2}, then the answer is NO. no sufficient.

(2) ∛(x) is an integer --> \sqrt[3]{x}=integer --> raise to the third power: x=integer^3=integer. Sufficient.

Answer: B.
