Got done with my IV today morning at Delhi.
My panel was out of phase with the others, was delayed by an hour and a half but it was worth the wait
Upon reaching I was asked to write 50-100 words on SYMBOLIC.
This seems to be just an English test of sorts since they give you ample time and nobody really monitors this. However some people were asked questions on what they wrote.
The interview was very straight forward one and my panel consisted of three alumni. Being from a shipping background I had a very few industry related questions and more of essay based and post MBA goals related questions. They started by asking me to walk them through my application which I was prepared for, then followed what I would bring to the class, why an MBA, a couple of essay specific questions along with the leadership qualities and skills involved in my line of work and how I am looking to use them post the MBA if I am to make an industry switch. They asked me for instances where I have demonstrated leadership skills and initiatives I have taken to see the world outside of the ship.
Finally they asked if I had any questions for the panel, this is sort of tricky as I had previously thought not asking them is the intelligent thing to do but apparently this is a test of curiosity so I was ready with a twister.
All in all a very stress free interview.
All the best to everyone preparing for their interviews
