C!

Was thinking of A, but decided that "and to" is not parallel with the rest of the sentence structure.

As such, for the above reason B and E is also out ("to corral them...")

D's sentence is just too akward for me.

Whats wrong with D in terms of parallelism? I think C is right because it has correct parallelism and conveys correct meaning.
