Think it's C...."feed themselves" and "to corral and drive" happen in separate timelines.

First, i choose between "the only thing"(D,E) VS "all one has to do".
I picked "the only thing" So had to choose between D & E.
Between D & E, My choice is "E".

(A) all one has to do with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves, corral them, and to => not ||
(B) all one has to do with cattle is to leave them alone to feed themselves, to corral them, and
(C) all one has to do with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves and then corral them and => wordy
(D) the only thing that has to be done with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves, corral them, and => Voice/Tense seems wrong here
(E) the only thing that has to be done with cattle is to leave them alone while they feed themselves, to corral them, and => Voice/Tense seems wrong here
My Answer : B ( Though i would have liked to see "and to drive them.."
What is the OA ??

(C) all one has to do with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves and then corral them and drive them
Think of it being a 2-step process. The cattle is first being fed. After they are fed, THEN they are taken to the market.
It def. cannot be B since "to" is missing before "drive"....otherwise it could work.

I think the parallelism in B is confusing because of the juxtaposition of "to feed themselves" with "to corral them" - it makes it sound like the cattle are corraling themselves. It may be grammatically correct but it is not clear.

Leave them and then corral them and drive them
Make sense. Thx!

if C is correct shouldn't it say "all one has TO do with cattle is TO leave them"?
