It is not hard to run the argument that Damien Hirst's A-level art grade E was well-earned. Anyone bent on dismissing him will walk into his Tate Modern retrospective and find [highlight]their[/highlight] ammunition.


I came across this sentence in the guardian. I would want to know the correctness of the usage of their in the last sentence..I think it should be replaced with his/her..

I agree that 'their' should be replaced with his/her.

Anyone fall into the SANMAN pronoun list. These pronouns can be singular / plural. I guess thus 'Their' is acceptable
