a) In 1995 Karen’s salary was $2000 greater than Jason’s
b) In 1998 Karen’s salary was $2440 greater than Jason’s

I get p is 22.

2 equations can be formed.

in 1995 -
Karen's salary : x
Jason's salary: y

x = y +2000

Also in 1998:

(1 +p/100)x = (1+p/100)y + 2440
