I don't know if this has been covered before - I hope it hasn't

Would the current 1st/2nd years in GC give an idea of how the intern/FT job search is going? it is as bad as businessweek says in their article ??

As an undergrad I was able to get a big 4 internship this summer - I think I may have gotten my last realistic opportunity at securing a job, next year is going to be worse... they're cutting recruiting costs to the point of going from HUGE info sessions where alcohol and amazing catering at trendy venues were the norm, to having one midsized event (less reps, less food, less trendy venue *probably at our school*) for all big 4 firms.
