D.

A) John was not ready to move to the new company because they had not rated it highly by any investment company.

B) Because of its low investment rating, John was not ready to move to the new company.
structure changed.

C) Because of it's low investment rating, John was not ready to move to the new company.

D) John was not ready to move to the new company because no investment company rated it highly.

E) John was not ready to move to the new company since it was not rated highly by any investment company.

ps u caught it right...i got so confused between D and E ....E is passive..Just forgot to notice that..

Stuck with D and E.

D has an advantage over E for the use of active voice.
