Cornell (Johnson) 2012 - Calling All Applicants

Any activity on wait list???

I'm in the same boat as you, friend! I applied in R3 and there has been no word from Cornell. Should we assume a ding??

They seem to be behind with their application reviews. I got my interview invite last week, a month after going under review.
If you went under review after mid feb or so I think it may be possible to get an invite.

I had my interview recently and I had pretty much the same questions listed earlier. Was very conversational, slightly challenging but a good experience. I was asked where else I had applied and what my statuses were at these schools. I expected the question about where I applied but not status. I didn't second guess myself this time and just answered honestly. I'm not thrilled with this question but I guess admissions hold all the power and it is useful information for them.

to the guy above, it def seems possible to still get an invite. they seem to be a little behind, and i would echo the poster above...the later your profile went under review the better your chance.

i hope they start to make a few admissions calls tomorrow though, the wait is nearly killing me. best of luck to everyone on here.

Just got an email from Cornell, saying they shipped my offer letter.. In?

I also got an email from Fedex this morning saying:

Congratulations. This is your binder and offer letter. For more information log on to your Application Account.

However, when i log onto my application account there is no update.

On pg 49 of this thread ppl also reported getting formal offers via fedex, however, did anyone get their package before being called or having their application status updated? It is not entirely clear from the previous postings?

I really hope that they would only fedex me if i'm in.....

Got the call at 950am, I'm in! Said scholarship info by the end of next week. Does anybody know if they usually invite you to Park weekend during the acceptance call?

Yeah my Park invite was during my admit call, but people have gotten money w/o the park invite

No wait list action here. I'm not sure how "rolling" it actually is. When I looked at last year's thread, one guy heard in April before DJ. Everyone else (at least on this site) heard back in May and June.

I interviewed on 3/5 with a member of adcom in Ithaca. They told me I would find out around the decision date.

Congratulations on both the admit and the Park invite! Keeping my fingers crossed for a little assistance but happy with an admit.

IN! got the call 10 minutes ago. Scholarship info will be sent out next week. Really excited for DJ!

went under review somewheres around feb 14, interview invite 3/5, on campus interview 3/9, admitted 3/23!
