The 'Legacy question' is kinda tricky. With only 200 words to play around with, I am having a hard time fitting everything into the essay.

Applying R1. Stats in my profile to the left.

I only have one more essay... the table of contents. Definitely the hardest one for me.

Anybody else finding the app website to be glitchy? When I select "salary" or "industry sector" from the drop-down menu in the Work Experience page and try to Save what I've input, it doesn't seem able to retain my choices. I'm on Firefox for Mac.

According to last year's thread, Admissions started sending out interview invites about a week after the R1 deadline.
Does anyone know if we can expect the same this year?

Submitted! TOC essay was certainly challenging. After a lot of thinking I took a more conservative approach and stuck to the text only version :?

I received my invitation to interview today, so it looks like they're following the same procedure as last year.
If you read through last year's thread, it seems pretty random as to who is invited to interview first.
Now I have nice long period of post-interview nail-biting to look forward to.

Edit: I submitted my app a few days early, in case anyone was curious.

Does your profile actually have "Under Review" on it, or are you just going by when you got an email confirmation from Johnson that they have received your application?

My profile just says...

Well, that sucks for me. I thought submitting a few days early would at least give me the advantage as far as the timing of my app being reviewed.

I noticed that you submitted before your recommendations were complete. I think what happens is your application becomes incomplete on 10/7, then someone from admissions must go in and manually mark it complete after both recommendations are received, causing a delay. In other words, it becomes a manual process rather than an automated process.

I almost did something similiar when I applied to CBS but admissions explained that it was to my benefit to wait for the recommendations for the above reason. Either way I am sure you will hear something soon.

I did not know that. Thanks for the heads up. I should have waited until after my second recommender submitted his letter then.

OK, so maybe I was procrastinating and searching for Cornell Johnson YouTube videos instead of finishing my third application.
In any case, I stumbled across this:

2011 Cornell Johnson Follies - LSP6699 Applying Core Classes To Your Love Life
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhI0azSX6kY

Has anyone seen this before?
Legitimate or not, it's hilarious!
