Any info on how to set up a campus visit & sit in on a class?
I called the admissions office last week and they said visits begin Sept 5, once classes are in session, and that we'd be able to schedule them on the website "shortly." Far as I can see there has been no action on the website since then. I'd really like to go visit well before the R1 deadline, so I can incorporate what I see into my essays, and because I've seen an admissions rep from Johnson on panel discussions at two different MBA Tour events in the past couple months, and in both cases she underscored how beneficial they consider it to be for applicants to come out to Ithaca before applying.
****
UPDATE: I called again, and was told that the Attend an Admissions event page on their website will have the sit-inable classes once they get the schedule, which will still be a week or so. I was assured though that if I just go ahead and schedule a trip to Ithaca any Monday through Thursday after Sept, they will have ample options for classes. My plan now is to simply book a ticket for whenever is best for me in mid-Sept, show up on campus, and sit in on whatever class is convenient. The way I see it, the classes will all be core curriculum anyway, and if I end up at Johnson I'll be taking that very same class a year from now no matter what.

bb, thank you for getting this thread going - you beat me to the punch
I've attached intel on admission statistics for the AMBA Class of 2012 and the 2-year MBA Class of 2013. These just in from the admissions office. I'm sure they will be posted on the website at some point but here you have them before everyone else. Great job by admissions.
To everyone applying as well as those on the fence, I'm here if you have any questions.

Hey Guys, BB I am sorry I had no idea in which thread I should have posted by message.
I am indian , female IT applicant. I am applying to Cornell 2012 fall R1.
The problem is my consultant. I have given my consultant list of 3 university and out of those she has told me its difficult to get in 2 thats McDonough and Cornell. Its so demoralizing. And the response I am getting from her makes me doubt their service.
I have engaged one of my friends to review my essays , but none of them have any prior experience in any of these. Is there anyone on GMATCLUB who can review my essays ? And any advice you guys provide will be great.

I am a round1 re-applicant to the school. Could some one let me know how do I start the application? Should I start a fresh account or begin with the same application. Any guidance is helpful.

Round 2 vs. Round 3?
Since Johnson has 4 rounds, how is applying in Round 3 (January 25th) perceived? Is it kind of like a typical round 3 with a significantly decreased chance of acceptance vs. Round 1 and 2? Or is it like most schools' round 2? I'm definitely applying but targeting Cornell's late round 3 January deadline is advantageous for devoting more time for each individual app. But if it is going to lower my chances big time, I should just go for round 2.
