joint degree of MBA and Education. [#permalink]
14 Oct 2010, 21:11
Hello All,
I am wondering if anyone has heard of a joint Master's degree of education and MBA?
Since this is what would best fit my future career path.
Thanks in advance,

I know some schools that specifically offer this track. Stanford and Michigan - MBA/MA USC - MBA/EdD Some schools market the opportunity to make your own dual degree program. Northwestern and Cornell are two of them, but there are other schools which let you do this. If you don't have a background in education, you'll want to make sure you can meet the prerequisites for the school's education degree. You'll also want to make sure that in a custom track the school offers a MA in Education that you want. Cornell has a different sort of availability than the others. I should also mention that several MPA programs around the country offer concentrations in education policy and management. Harvard Kennedy, Columbia SIPA, and NYU Wagner are some that come to mind. And of course, those schools offer MBA/MPA tracks.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help .
I am currently working on my applications, and I wonder if its beneficial to include as many as 7 or 8 recommendations for each application, or is it quite unnecessary? Keep in mind i am involved in consulting services for international students and education, and most of the recommendations would actually come from partner schools/universities.
Thanks for your help, I hope I can write some GMAT/GRE experiences to return the favor. Since joint degree MBA/Education would require GRE and/or GMAT.
