Hi Guys,
After 1.5 months of preparation and a good round of mock CAT's last week, i took my GMAT y'day and it was a flop show. 680 was my lowest score on any of the mocks and i never ever got less than 38 on the verbal.
Follwing were my scores on the mocks:
GMATprep1 - 720 ( 2 weeks b4 )
GMATprep2 - 750 ( 2 days b4 )
PR1- 700 ( 1 wk b4 )
PR2- 710 ( 4 days b4 )
PR3- 690 ( 1 week b4 )
PR4- 720 ( 3 days b4 )
Kaplan 1 680 ( 2 weeks b4 )
I don't know what but something really went terribly wrong on the test day.
After an upset evening yesterday and some rounds of drinks with my friens, i woke up today with a dizzy head and now am not sure as to whether i shud give it another shot or just start applying. Though the top 10 schools were never my preference, i felt that an score of around 730-750 could have given me some good scholarships in the 20-30 ranked colleges as I do not have enough financial backing to handle the burden of tution all by myself.
My preferred schools are Ross, Purdue, Richard Ivey (Canada), Simon and Wheatherhead (Case Western Reserve). With my work experience of 3 years, average acads and some decent extracurriculars, i am not sure how strong would be a 680.
I know a lot of experts on this forum. Any advice on whether i should aim for a retake or just go ahead and apply with this score would be highly highly appreciated.
