A non-leap year has 365 days.

365 = 52*7 + 1

So every normal year offsets by 1 day, Leap year by 2.

Difference = 1*(# of non-leap years) + 2*(# of leap years)
= 1*4 + 2*1 = 6

Friday+6 = Thursday.
