First of all taking ESCP just to leverage the double degree program with IIM's wont work, because you cannot do a double degree with a university of your home country.( BTW ESSEC also has tie-ups with the IIM's)
But apart from this both ESCP and ESSEC are amazing schools with a huge brand name in France and also to some extent in Europe.
Ofcourse ESSEC's singapore campus will be an interesting incentive, if you plan is to work in India. But then again what most MiM students do is that they work in Europe for 3-4 years and then shift back to India or their home country after that. This gives them international work experience apart from an excellent degree, and hence increases the chance of getting a great job back home.
Hope the answer helped. You can check out http://www.mim-essay.com/what-is-the-mim-.html
