That's right. Just as Congress is.. so Parliament is..

Just as.. so. is a correct idiom. IMO, D is the correct answer.

I concur; the correct idiomatic expression is "just as X, so Y."
X:Congress is the legislative branch of...
Y:Parliament is the legislative body of...

The correct response is D.

The idioms goes like Just as X.. so Y...

In option B if we have' Like congress' instead of 'As congress' will B is more preferable than D. Experts please suggest when to use As, Like, Just As....

This question tests the knowledge of idioms
The correct idiom is Just as X so Y
Here:
X:Congress is the legislative branch of...
Y:Parliament is the legislative body of...

Only Option D follows this idiom. Hence the correct answer.
