Just returned with a 650 [#permalink]

Disappointed of course. 43 Q, 37 V.
I want to apply to UT austin, rice, smu, and tcu (in that order of preference). My undergrad GPA was 3.3 with a Electrical Engineering Degree.
do you guys think I should retake the test or do you think these scores will be good enough for the above mentioned schools? I studied by doing the OG:11th edition as well as the supplemental Math book and finally the 2 powerprep tests.

What was your average score for the powerprep? If you were scoring higher you might be able to retake and get a better score?

I think your score is above or par with the mentioned schools.
So if you have strong essays, I don't think you need to retake the GMAT.
However, just from your short post, I can sense that you can score higher with some more preparation. OG doesn't really help to go above 650..
Try Challenge and SC,RC,RC from this forum.
good luck!
