680 is a great score - congrats!

Specifically, what schools are you targeting? Are they F/T or P/T programs? What is a "very good-excellent" GPA?

At a high level, your experience looks good but we need to know a little more about your profile, goals, experience, etc. to give you better feedback.

Sorry, I was a little bit down after the test. I have also been real busy, didn't have a chance to write about my actual test experience.

I scheduled a 8:00 AM test, got there on time. The Prometric test center people did not let me take my digital watch. I practised pacing using my watch... Computer set up was bad, there was room on my left to do scratch work not on the right hand side. I am right handed. The glare on the computer screen was real bad. Throughout the test, people kept coming in and going out around me because it seemed to me that they were taking shorter tests of other types.(non-GMAT)

AWA was pretty easy. Took a break to go to the rest room. Quant was surprisingly hard. Kept getting harder (could be because I got all first 10 correct). Much harder than OG10. I did not get to last 5 question, I had to quickly guess.

Took another break, ate a piece of fruit.

Tried to stay focused on verbal even though I was a little let down from my quant experience. I got five RC sections, SC was very easy and CR was ok. I ran out of time when I had 3 more to go, so I had to quickly guess.

My score was Q: 44 and V:37 (680).
I always thought math was my strong point but in the actual test, verbal felt easier than quant.

I am still trying to decide if I cna handle retaking with a real busy full time job.

680 is still a very good score. Determine what schools and programs you'd like to attend (F/T vs P/T), do research on them and then you should have a better idea on whether you should retake. Personally, I'd work on my application with a score of 680 (but I'm only looking at P/T programs).

Good luck and congrats! Don't be down on yourself...

680 is not a bad score. I guess, a little higher score in Quant is easily attainable -- just in case you are considering writing GMAT again.

Also, for a female with 680 in GMAT, there is a good chance to get in 5-15 numbered colleges.
