Kaplan 2005 test taken .... [#permalink] New post 21 Feb 2005, 19:06
I have just taken the first test from Kaplan 2005 book and I got 560.

Overconfidence killed the quant......I finished the quant in 55 min with 10 mistakes.....Verbal is anyway a workarea for me......

Math calcuations were all correct but at times I went too fast in DS section.....

Any feedback from you please?

This is my first test......Should I have tried PR instead?

I started 2 weeks back preparing...

Do you do exercise in OG,10th edition ?
I think OG is good stuff to prepare math section in real GMAT, even though its level is a little easier than that of real GMAT. But, the pattern of questions is the same with that of real questions. That's important. At least, I think so.

Yes I am doing OG for math and also verbal sections from the same source.

Also I need to start Kaplan 800.

But was that a mistake taking Kaplan test from the Kaplan 2005 book? Should I be taking the initial tests from other sources?

What should be my test taking(practise tests) frequency & startegy?

Many people in the forum are talking about ETS test papers...Are they different from the PP CD?

Please let me know about it.

Cheers
