[help] Kaplan CAT score..what can i deduce from this?

[help] Kaplan CAT score..what can i deduce from this? [#permalink] New post 15 Jul 2012, 01:38
Hi,

I have just completed CAT 3 from kaplan tests I have. But after looking at the score I am very confused what to conclude from it.
I am attaching my score here with my post. Please help me out.

First, the Quant score is 54!!! :?
Second, my verbal section started with Question#2 and I saw Q#1 for 2 seconds and suddenly the screen got changed to Q#2. :oops:

Hi dexerash,

Sorry for the confusion! I'm guessing these scores are from an older edition of Kaplan GMAT Premier, as the scoring error is due to an old error that's been fixed. The sectional scores are definitely a little bit off, but you can trust the sectional percentile scores and the overall scores! Still, there's no better practice than the official GMATprep scores. I suspect you'll see similar results when you take the official tests from www.mba.com. Let me know if you don't, and we'll try to desconstruct the differences!
