Dear all,
I just purchased
Kaplan Premier 2011, and I have two questions.
1.
Kaplan Premier 2011 comes with a CD, and also an online subscription to
Kaplan's website. The CD contains 4 CAT tests, and the website has also 4 online CAT tests. I was wondering if the CAT tests on the CD have the same content as the online CAT tests. Can anybody please advice?
2. I read on this board that the
Kaplan CAT tests generally score in the 600s. I was wondering if
Kaplan has updated its scoring system, or if it has watered down its CAT test questions available from
Kaplan Premier 2011. I just did a test, and scored pretty reasonably. If there is a much harder
Kaplan CAT test available, can anybody please tell me how to get my hands on it?
Thanks for all your help!
Paul
Hi Paul
1. The same tests are provided to you in two different formats, to ensure you can practice anywhere--whether you have your own computer, or not internet access.
2. Remember, CATs are adaptive--they're as hard as you make them! A few of our older tests may have had some issues with the scoring algorithms, which we've since resolved. However, those tests were still adaptive; you would have therefore seen problems at the same level of difficulty you're currently facing, and just gotten a lower number score. I'd stick with the 4 Premier CATs--they'll go a long way!
Hope this helps!
Eli
