Thank you both.

TimeSquareDesi,
The Kaplan probably changed some stuff around. I did what you said but online system does not show the "x out of 51" Q&V distribution. It only shows the percentile distribution.

bb,
Yes. That's what I was looking for. I saw your link before but did not pay attention.

It seems that I scored 590 with Q40 and V26.

Kind of sucks.

You're at Q40, so that's a good start (assuming this is a start  )
Verbal does need quite a bit of help.

I started with 540 8-)

Oh, and more question.

I heard that Kaplan has changed their online test grading algorithm.

Apparently, it will now provide you a score that is close to real GMAT score.

Is this true? Or should I expect that my 590 on online Kaplan will be actually 600+ on real GMAT?

I am so far away from my 770 :(

Thanks for encouraging words!
I have finished Manhattan Number properties before I took the test. A lot of people recommended it. Well, I bought all MGMAT books. I thought I understood the Number Properties but ended up getting only 6 out 13 on my CAT. Maybe I am not used to the questions yet.

Well, that's the question to you really - what is the source of your mistakes?

It is, though they won't comment on it. It used to be close to 100 points lower than real test but now they tweaked it to be more accurate. GMAT Prep still remains the most accurate measurement however.

Well, I took the GMAT at 3 am. I could not go to sleep, so I decided to take it before going to sleep. I almost fell asleep during my verbal part. On Verbal I ran out of time and just picked whatever for the last 4 or 5 questions.

I usually wake up at 6 am to study for GMAT. I spend 30 minutes on this forum and another 2 hours studying for GMAT. I take practice tests on Sundays. During the day I have part time work and my school, so that's the only free time I have. Maybe if I take GMAT early in the morning, I might get a better result.
