Kaplan Online Diagnostic Test [#permalink]

Hello,

I just did the Online Diagnostic Test that came with my Kaplan 2011 Premiere book, I'm wondering if anyone has done this test as a pre-studying baseline and let me know whether those questions are reflective of the real thing?

This was my score from the Diagnostic Test:
- Total 30/38 Questions - 78.95% correct
- 6/7 - Data Sufficiency
- 8/11 - Problem Solving
- 5/6 - Critical Reasoning
- 6/7 - Reading Comprehension
- 5/7 - Sentence Correction

From the result of the diagnostic it seems that I'm heading off on a good start. However, without too much experience in GMAT and the Kaplan series of books, I'm a bit skeptical on the quality of the questions and thus the result of the diagnostic.

Can I please ask for comments on this?

You are at a good start and should only go up.
However, ideally you would take a CAT test and get a GMAT-like score and that way put a notch on the wall (this one is just too hard or rather impossible to compare)

Thanks for the quick feedback.

Would you happen to know if the online test provided by Kaplan Premier are CAT? How about those on the CD provided? Would it be a better option to use the GMATPrep software to gauge my baseline?
