In april 11 I sent in an update and today (april/26) received a confirmation response from my WL manager.
And this is it so far...

Well, today is the R2 deposit deadline and that means many of our fates have been sealed. The facebook group for the class of 2014 has been stagnant at 640 so we have no idea if the yield is any different this year, but for all our sakes, let's hope it is a little lower. Did you guys send in a second update this week? Also are any of you planning to remove yourselves from the wait list if you don't hear anything next week?

I did not send in an update this week. Did they say too? I sent in a message telling them Kellogg is still my top choice of schools. I have a good feeling that many of us are going to go green next week!!!

I believe you can send as many updates as you feel are necessary. I sent them a message similar to yours and according to my wait list manager "a good number of decisions will be released next week". Good luck everyone, it's about time we saw some posts that say "I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!"

I'm fresh out of updates. If I were to write to admissions all I'd have is "so Ive given notice a work and am about to embark on 2 months of travel and shenanigans while I prepare for life at another program". Significant yes, But relevant? Posted from my mobile device

I have no more updates - I really wish I did.
Does anyone have thoughts on what the ideal gap is for summer free time? I know I want some time to travel, get my mind ready for school, still stay busy. Thinking June and July. What do most people do?

Last year, it was something like this: Calls went out to accepted candidates on Mon and Tue and those that were dinged found out later in the week (mostly Fri) by checking their status online. I'd expect something similar this year.

Thanks Healthcareguy, I sent them an update on wednesday, got acknowledgement from my WL manager, just figers crossed, I can simply imagine how the December waitlisters feel at this time, the process is so long and taking, at least one thing good is, that all this contribute into making me a good student come September if admitted, or a better applicant if not admitted.
