Same March 21 letter for me. I just want a decision either way today...so I can finally make a decision as to where I'm going. A summer wait list would not be ideal.

It seems like they Summer WL'd 80% of people on the R2 Waitlist.

Is the consensus pretty much that all decisions will come today for wait listers? I really hope they don't spread this out over 3 days like they did R2 applicant decisions.

Its weird. My online status just went back to the pre-waitlist message.
All the required elements of your application are complete. The next status check update will be the admission decision (Admit, Waitlist or Deny).
No email telling me it was updated. I don't think this is a good thing.

I read that for the R1 waitlist people back in March, the school had some serious issues with decision notifications (sending out dings, then changing them to WL letters, etc).

I believe this happened round 2. Unfortunately I think in many (if not all) the cases where a ding was posted, then detracted, it was a ding. I still have the March 21 date on mine FWIW.
